
Shortage Control Lead - Full-Time

- Oversee and manage all aspects of shortage control and inventory management for the store.
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and prevent inventory shortages.
- Train and supervise team members on shortage control procedures and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts.
- Communicate with store management and corporate teams regarding shortage trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as loss prevention and merchandising, to develop and implement shortage prevention measures.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Implement and maintain processes to track and report shortage data.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and procedures related to inventory management and shortage control.
- Train and coach team members on proper inventory handling and management techniques.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve department goals and objectives.
- Create and maintain reports to track and analyze shortage data.
- Work closely with store management to develop and implement shortage reduction strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to inventory management and shortage control.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Retail Operations, Supply Chain Management, Or Inventory Control.
Experience Managing A Team And Working Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management Systems, Supply Chain Processes, And Retail Industry Trends.
