
Shortage Control Lead - Full-Time

- Develop and implement shortage control strategies and procedures to minimize theft and operational errors.
- Train and supervise team members on shortage control protocols and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze store operations to identify potential areas of vulnerability and take appropriate action.
- Conduct investigations into suspected thefts or operational errors and collaborate with Loss Prevention team as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all shortage incidents and provide regular reports to management.
- Work closely with store management to identify and address any operational issues that may contribute to shortages.
- Conduct regular audits of store processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
- Communicate shortage control initiatives and updates to all store employees.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any shortage-related concerns or inquiries.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve and enhance shortage control measures.
- Collaborate with other store departments to ensure effective shortage control efforts across all areas.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments related to shortage control and implement relevant strategies.
- Assist with training new hires on shortage control procedures and processes.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Retail Operations Or Inventory Management.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Manage A Team And Coordinate With Other Departments.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Identify And Address Inventory Shortages.
Knowledge Of Inventory Control Systems And Processes, Including Inventory Audits And Cycle Counting.
Strong Communication And Organization Skills To Effectively Communicate Shortage Control Strategies And Initiatives To Team Members And Management.
