Job Description

The Shortage Control Lead at Burlington Stores is an important role that requires an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has a knack for problem solving. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing loss prevention issues within the store, as well as ensuring that all inventory levels are monitored and maintained. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in a similar role. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to address loss prevention issues within the store.
  2. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure accuracy.
  3. Train and support store personnel in loss prevention best practices.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  5. Monitor store performance and generate reports to ensure proper inventory management.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Lead regular team meetings and provide feedback to staff.
  8. Collaborate with upper management to develop solutions to problems.
  9. Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.
  10. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
