
Shortage Control Lead
At Burlington Stores, we are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Shortage Control Lead to join our team and make a positive impact on our inventory management process. In this role, you will use your expertise in shortage control to ensure our products are moved efficiently and accurately throughout the organization.The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 3 years of experience in inventory control or a related field. You should have a working knowledge of shortage-control systems and process and an understanding of the customer service needs of the organization. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain shortage-control systems and processes to ensure efficient and accurate product movement throughout the organization.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify any potential issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in inventory data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage and improve inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor team members on inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Prepare reports on inventory performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain updated records of inventory transactions and reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient flow of goods and services.
- Monitor and evaluate inventory control procedures and processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
