
Shortage Control Associate Lead

- Oversee and manage all shortage control efforts within the store, including monitoring and reporting on potential risks and implementing preventative measures.
- Ensure the protection of merchandise through proper handling and storage procedures.
- Train and supervise other shortage control associates, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify any areas of weakness or potential loss.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement strategies to reduce shortage and increase profitability.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention to continuously improve and enhance store security.
- Communicate effectively with all team members to promote a positive and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to shortage control and loss prevention.
- Utilize advanced surveillance and monitoring technology to identify and prevent theft and other security risks.
- Participate in store meetings and trainings to educate team members on shortage control measures and company protocols.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all shortage control activities and provide reports to upper management as needed.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all shortage control matters.
- Assist with any other tasks or projects related to shortage control as assigned by store management.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Retail Management Or Loss Prevention
Strong Understanding Of Inventory Control And Shortage Prevention Strategies
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Train And Guide Team Members
Proficient In Data Analysis And Reporting To Identify And Address Shortage Trends
Ability To Work Flexible Hours, Including Nights And Weekends, And Travel To Different Store Locations As Needed
