As a leader in our shortage control department, you will play a crucial role in protecting our merchandise and minimizing loss.   1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shortage control department.
  2. Train and supervise a team of shortage control associates.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to prevent merchandise loss.
  4. Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify potential areas of risk.
  5. Collaborate with store management to address and resolve any shortages or issues.
  6. Ensure all shortage control procedures and policies are followed by the team.
  7. Monitor and analyze data to identify patterns and trends in merchandise loss.
  8. Create and maintain reports on shortage control activities and results.
  9. Communicate effectively with store management and other departments to address and resolve any shortage concerns.
  10. Conduct training sessions for store associates on proper shortage control procedures and techniques.
  11. Collaborate with the store's loss prevention team to develop and implement company-wide shortage control strategies.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in shortage control and incorporate them into the department's processes.
  13. Maintain a safe and secure work environment for all team members.
  14. Handle any escalated shortage control issues and provide guidance to team members on how to handle difficult situations.
  15. Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Role.
