- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shortage control department.
- Train and supervise a team of shortage control associates.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent merchandise loss.
- Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify potential areas of risk.
- Collaborate with store management to address and resolve any shortages or issues.
- Ensure all shortage control procedures and policies are followed by the team.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify patterns and trends in merchandise loss.
- Create and maintain reports on shortage control activities and results.
- Communicate effectively with store management and other departments to address and resolve any shortage concerns.
- Conduct training sessions for store associates on proper shortage control procedures and techniques.
- Collaborate with the store's loss prevention team to develop and implement company-wide shortage control strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in shortage control and incorporate them into the department's processes.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment for all team members.
- Handle any escalated shortage control issues and provide guidance to team members on how to handle difficult situations.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Role.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Motivate Team Members.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities, With Experience In Inventory Management And Shortage Control.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Performance Goals, With A Focus On Reducing Shrink And Increasing Profitability.
Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Best Practices And A Commitment To Maintaining A Safe And Secure Store Environment.
