Senior Internal Auditor

The individual in this role will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the organization’s internal controls, assessing financial risk, and developing audit plans and strategies.The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification, and five or more years of experience in internal auditing. Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, risk management, and financial analysis is essential for success in this position. Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate the effectiveness of the organization’s internal controls.

5. Maintain accurate records and prepare comprehensive audit reports.
6. Monitor financial activities to detect and prevent fraud and misappropriation.
7. Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend changes.
8. Develop and implement internal audit policies and procedures.
9. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
10. Provide training and guidance to junior internal auditors.
