  1. Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with management and other departments to assess safety needs and develop solutions.
  4. Train employees on safety procedures and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  5. Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  6. Investigate and report any workplace accidents or incidents and make recommendations for prevention.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety measures and incidents.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to workplace safety.
  9. Communicate regularly with employees and management regarding safety updates and initiatives.
  10. Identify and address potential safety issues or concerns proactively.
  11. Coordinate safety drills and emergency response procedures.
  12. Conduct safety meetings and presentations to promote awareness and understanding of safety protocols.
  13. Serve as a point of contact for any safety-related inquiries or concerns.
  14. Collaborate with external agencies and organizations on safety-related matters.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve safety processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Occupational Safety And Health Administration (Osha) Regulations: A Safety Coordinator At Burlington Stores Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Osha Regulations And Ensure That The Company Is In Compliance With All Safety Standards.

  • Experience Conducting Safety Trainings: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Conducting Safety Trainings For Employees, Including Topics Such As Fire Safety, Emergency Response, And Proper Use Of Personal Protective Equipment.

  • Strong Communication Skills: A Safety Coordinator Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate Safety Procedures And Guidelines To Employees At All Levels Of The Organization, As Well As Collaborate With Other Departments To Ensure Safety Protocols Are Followed.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Safety Coordinator, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Identifying Potential Safety Hazards And Implementing Preventative Measures To Mitigate Risk.

  • Experience With Incident Investigations: In The Event Of A Workplace Accident Or Injury, The Safety Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Conducting A Thorough Investigation To Determine The Root Cause And Make Recommendations For Future Prevention. Therefore, Experience With Incident Investigations Is An Important Qualification For This Role.
