Job Description

Welcome to Burlington Stores! We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a part-time Retail Stocking Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the stocking and replenishment of merchandise in our store. We are looking for someone who is passionate about retail and has a strong attention to detail.   1. Oversee and manage the stocking and replenishment of merchandise in the store on a daily basis.
  2. Lead and coordinate a team of stock associates to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  3. Train new team members on proper stocking and merchandising techniques.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management about any discrepancies or issues.
  5. Ensure that all merchandise is stocked and presented in an organized and visually appealing manner.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment for both team members and customers.
  7. Collaborate with other store departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  8. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to stocking and inventory management.
  9. Monitor and track team productivity and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
  10. Identify and address any potential issues or areas for improvement in the stocking process.
  11. Communicate effectively with management and team members to keep them informed of any changes or updates.
  12. Maintain a high level of customer service by assisting customers with any inquiries or concerns related to merchandise.
  13. Ensure adherence to all safety and security protocols to protect merchandise and minimize loss.
  14. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales and productivity goals set by management.
  15. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to suggest innovative ways to improve stocking processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: A Qualified Candidate For A Retail Stocking Team Lead Position Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Stocking Or Inventory Management Role. This Experience Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Lead A Team Of Stockers.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Team Lead, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing And Directing A Team Of Stockers. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills Such As Communication, Decision-Making, And Delegation Are Essential For The Success Of The Team.

  • Organizational Skills: Retail Stocking Requires Attention To Detail And The Ability To Organize And Prioritize Tasks. A Qualified Candidate Should Possess Strong Organizational Skills To Ensure That The Store Is Stocked Efficiently And Accurately.

  • Physical Stamina: Working In Retail Stocking Can Be Physically Demanding, Involving Lifting, Bending, And Standing For Extended Periods. A Qualified Candidate Should Have The Physical Stamina And Endurance To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.

  • Knowledge Of Inventory Management Systems: Burlington Stores Likely Uses An Inventory Management System To Track And Manage Stock Levels. A Qualified Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Inventory Management Systems To Ensure Accurate And Timely Stock Replenishment.
