Retail Stocking Team Lead - Part-Time
As a Retail Stocking Team Lead at Burlington Stores, you would be an integral part of our store's success by leading and overseeing the stocking team. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the stocking team to ensure efficient and effective completion of daily tasks.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels on the sales floor to ensure adequate stock for customers.
- Coordinate with other store departments to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise and maintain organization in the stockroom.
- Train and onboard new team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are knowledgeable and effective in their roles.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and inventory control.
- Communicate with store management about inventory needs and any issues that may arise.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers by assisting with product inquiries and locating items on the sales floor.
- Utilize strong attention to detail to ensure accurate pricing and placement of merchandise.
- Assist with receiving and processing new shipments of merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Support store sales goals by ensuring merchandise is readily available for customers.
- Identify and address any issues or concerns with merchandise quality or availability.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving stocking processes and customer service.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as scheduling and tracking team performance, as needed.
Prior Experience In Retail Stocking: A Retail Stocking Team Lead Should Have Previous Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Stocking Or Inventory Management Role. This Experience Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Daily Tasks And Responsibilities Of The Job.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Team Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Stockers. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Motivation To Team Members, And Handle Any Conflicts That May Arise.
