Burlington Stores is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Stocking Team Lead to join our team. As the Team Lead, you will play a key role in managing and organizing our merchandise to provide our customers with an exceptional shopping experience.   1. Oversee and manage the receiving, organization, and stocking of merchandise in the store.
  2. Train and lead a team of stock associates to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
  3. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure products are readily available for customers.
  4. Create and implement effective strategies to maximize sales and minimize loss through proper inventory management.
  5. Ensure all merchandise is priced and tagged accurately.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor.
  7. Conduct regular inventory audits and communicate any discrepancies to management.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and backroom area.
  9. Monitor and track stock levels to identify potential inventory shortages or overstock situations.
  10. Communicate with management regarding any issues or concerns related to stocking and inventory management.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with locating and restocking products for customers.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve stockroom and backroom processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  14. Lead by example and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  15. Train and mentor new team members on stockroom and inventory management procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Setting, Preferably In A Stocking Or Inventory Management Role. This Will Ensure They Have A Good Understanding Of Store Operations And Customer Service.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Team Lead, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Stock Associates. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Direction, And Handle Conflicts.

  • Organizational Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Oversee The Stocking And Replenishment Of Merchandise. This Includes The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Manage Inventory Levels, And Maintain A Neat And Orderly Stockroom.

  • Knowledge Of Merchandising: A Solid Understanding Of Merchandising Principles Is Important For A Stocking Team Lead. This Includes Knowledge Of Planograms, Product Placement, And Visual Merchandising To Ensure The Store Is Properly Stocked And Presented.

  • Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Store Management, And Other Departments. This Includes The Ability To Provide Clear Instructions, Give Feedback, And Report Any Issues Or Concerns.
