Job Description

We are seeking a confident and experienced Retail Stocking Team Lead to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of customer service and operational excellence. As a leader on our retail stocking team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our stores are fully stocked and organized, providing a positive shopping experience for our customers.   1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the retail stocking team to ensure efficient and effective stock management in all stores.
  2. Train and coach team members on proper stocking procedures, including receiving, organizing, and replenishing products on the sales floor.
  3. Create and implement schedules for the stocking team, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and efficient use of resources.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize loss or theft.
  5. Collaborate with other store departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  6. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including inventory counts and product placement.
  7. Communicate with store managers and corporate team to provide updates on stock levels, product trends, and any issues or concerns.
  8. Lead by example and maintain a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and accountability.
  9. Identify areas for improvement and provide suggestions for streamlining processes and increasing efficiency within the stocking team.
  10. Adhere to all safety and security protocols, ensuring the protection of store assets and the well-being of team members and customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In Retail Stocking: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Retail Stocking, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills: As A Team Lead, The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Manage Their Own Tasks As Well As Delegate And Oversee The Tasks Of Their Team Members.

  • Leadership And Communication Skills: A Retail Stocking Team Lead Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Their Team, As Well As With Other Departments And Management. They Should Also Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Motivate And Guide Their Team Towards Achieving Goals.

  • Knowledge Of Inventory Management: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Inventory Management Processes, Including Receiving, Stocking, And Replenishing Merchandise.

  • Ability To Work In A Physically Demanding Environment: Retail Stocking Can Be Physically Demanding, With A Lot Of Lifting, Bending, And Standing For Long Periods. The Candidate Should Be Able To Meet These Physical Demands To Ensure The Efficient Operation Of The Stocking Team.
