  1. Manage and lead a team of stockers to ensure efficient and timely stocking of merchandise on store shelves.
  2. Train and onboard new team members on company policies, procedures, and stocking techniques.
  3. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability for customers.
  4. Coordinate with store management to prioritize and schedule stocking tasks.
  5. Conduct regular inventory checks to identify any discrepancies or shortages.
  6. Ensure all merchandise is accurately labeled and priced.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized backroom and sales floor.
  8. Communicate any stocking or inventory issues to store management.
  9. Motivate and encourage team members to meet and exceed stocking goals.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any customer inquiries or concerns related to stocked merchandise.
  11. Collaborate with other store departments to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  12. Adhere to all company safety and security protocols.
  13. Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment for the team.
  14. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in stocking and inventory management.
  15. Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks related to stocking and inventory control.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In A Retail Stocking Role - A Retail Stocking Team Lead Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Stocking Process And Be Familiar With Inventory Management Systems, Stockroom Organization, And Merchandising Techniques.

  • Leadership Skills - This Position Involves Overseeing A Team Of Stock Associates, So Strong Leadership Abilities Are Essential. A Retail Stocking Team Lead Should Be Able To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Training, And Effectively Communicate With Team Members.

  • Time Management And Organization Skills - Retail Stores Have Tight Schedules, And A Retail Stocking Team Lead Must Be Able To Manage Their Time Effectively To Ensure All Tasks Are Completed On Time. They Should Also Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Maintain A Well-Stocked And Organized Store.

  • Physical Stamina - Stocking Shelves And Unloading Merchandise Can Be Physically Demanding, So A Retail Stocking Team Lead Should Be Able To Lift And Move Heavy Objects And Stand For Long Periods.

  • Customer Service Experience - Burlington Stores Prides Itself On Providing Excellent Customer Service, And A Retail Stocking Team Lead Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role. This Will Allow Them To Assist Customers When Needed And Ensure The Store Is Well-Stocked With In-Demand Items.
