We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Retail Stocking Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the stocking and replenishment of merchandise in our store. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are always fully stocked and our customers can easily find the products they need.   1. Lead and coordinate the stocking and replenishment of merchandise in the store.
  2. Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are easily accessible for customers.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management about any stock shortages or overages.
  4. Train and supervise a team of stock associates, setting clear expectations and providing feedback on performance.
  5. Create and maintain a schedule for stocking and replenishment tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and management, to ensure smooth and timely execution of stocking and replenishment processes.
  7. Conduct regular inventory checks to identify any discrepancies and take necessary corrective actions.
  8. Adhere to company policies and procedures for stocking and replenishment, including safety protocols.
  9. Motivate and inspire team members to maintain a high level of productivity and deliver exceptional customer service.
  10. Keep track of product trends and customer preferences, and make recommendations to management for effective stock management.
  11. Communicate effectively with customers, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues related to stocking and replenishment.
  12. Continuously review and improve stocking and replenishment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and ensure merchandise is properly labeled and tagged.
  14. Assist in other store operations, such as cashiering and customer service, as needed.
  15. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Leadership Experience: A Successful Candidate For A Retail Stocking Team Lead Position At Burlington Stores Should Have Prior Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Retail Setting. This Experience Should Demonstrate The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Drive Results.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Team Lead, It Is Important To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Store Managers, And Other Departments. This Requires Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Ensure Clear And Efficient Communication.

  • Excellent Organizational Skills: Retail Stocking Team Leads Are Responsible For Managing Inventory And Ensuring Products Are Stocked And Displayed Correctly. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Exceptional Organizational Skills To Effectively Manage And Maintain Inventory Levels.

  • Knowledge Of Merchandising And Stocking Processes: Retail Stocking Team Leads Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Merchandising And Stocking Processes, Including Planogram Implementation And Product Rotation. This Knowledge Will Help Ensure The Store Is Set Up For Success And Products Are Displayed In An Appealing Manner.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Retail Stores Can Be Fast-Paced And High-Pressure Environments, Especially During Peak Shopping Seasons. A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Be Able To Thrive In A Fast-Paced Environment And Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Priorities At Once.
