- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the stocking team to ensure efficient and effective stocking of merchandise.
- Train and develop team members on company policies, procedures, and stocking techniques to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure shelves are fully stocked at all times.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and organization of merchandise in the stockroom.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely restocking of merchandise on the sales floor.
- Create and maintain schedules for the stocking team to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours.
- Communicate with management regarding any stockroom issues or concerns and provide solutions to improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Lead by example by actively participating in stocking and organizing merchandise when needed.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the stocking process to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment to promote productivity and morale among the stocking team.
- Set and achieve performance goals for the stocking team to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed by the stocking team.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to make recommendations for process improvements.
- Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries or complaints related to product availability or stocking issues.
