  1. Stock store shelves and racks with merchandise according to company standards and procedures.
  2. Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of all merchandise.
  3. Maintain organization and cleanliness of stockroom and sales floor.
  4. Receive and process shipments, including unpacking, sorting, and tagging merchandise.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock shortages or overstock situations to management.
  6. Assist with customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  7. Adhere to all safety and security protocols while handling merchandise.
  8. Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and loss prevention.
  9. Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed sales goals.
  10. Continuously learn and stay updated on product knowledge and store promotions.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: A Retail Stocking Associate Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Stocking Or Inventory Management Role. This Ensures They Have A Basic Understanding Of Retail Operations And Can Quickly Learn The Specific Processes And Procedures Of Burlington Stores.

  • Physical Stamina And Dexterity: This Job Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Of Heavy Boxes And Merchandise, As Well As Standing And Walking For Extended Periods Of Time. A Qualified Candidate Should Have Good Physical Stamina And Dexterity To Perform These Tasks Efficiently And Safely.

  • Attention To Detail: A Retail Stocking Associate Is Responsible For Accurately Stocking And Organizing Merchandise On Shelves And In Storage Areas. They Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Spot Discrepancies Or Errors In Product Placement.
