Welcome to Burlington Stores! We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time Retail Stocking Associate. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are fully stocked and our merchandise is displayed attractively for our customers. We are looking for someone who has a passion for customer service and a strong attention to detail.   1. Stock shelves and maintain a well-organized and fully stocked store environment.
  2. Ensure all merchandise is displayed in an attractive and appealing manner for customers.
  3. Restock and replenish inventory as needed throughout the day.
  4. Receive and process incoming shipments, accurately counting and recording merchandise.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  7. Assist customers with locating products and making purchase decisions.
  8. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and company policies.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective store operations.
  10. Follow company procedures for handling and organizing merchandise.
  11. Communicate any inventory or stocking issues to management in a timely manner.
  12. Uphold company standards for appearance and behavior.
  13. Contribute to a positive and welcoming store atmosphere.
  14. Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
  15. Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Stocking Or Inventory Management Position. This Experience Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of Retail Operations And The Ability To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: This Role Requires A High Level Of Organization And Attention To Detail. The Candidate Should Have The Ability To Effectively Manage Inventory And Keep Track Of Stock Levels, As Well As Prioritize Tasks And Ensure That Items Are Stocked In The Correct Locations.

  • Physical Stamina: Retail Stocking Associates Often Spend Long Periods Of Time On Their Feet, Lifting And Moving Heavy Boxes And Merchandise. The Ability To Meet Physical Demands Of The Job, Such As Lifting Up To 50 Pounds, Is Essential For This Role.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Part-Time Retail Stocking Associate, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Other Team Members And Communicating With Customers. Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For Effectively Carrying Out Tasks And Providing Excellent Customer Service.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: Retail Environments Can Be Unpredictable, And The Candidate Should Be Able To Adapt To Changing Priorities And Work Schedules. The Ability To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Weekends And Holidays, Is Also Important For This Role.
