  1. Receive and unload incoming merchandise from delivery trucks.
  2. Inspect and verify the accuracy of merchandise received against purchase orders.
  3. Sort and organize merchandise in designated areas of the store.
  4. Stock shelves and racks with merchandise according to store standards and layout.
  5. Ensure merchandise is priced and tagged correctly.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or issues to management.
  8. Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide excellent customer service.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  10. Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling merchandise.
  11. Continuously learn about new products and promotions to better assist customers.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company.
  14. Attend training and development sessions to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  15. Be flexible and willing to work in different areas of the store as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Retail Experience: A Successful Retail Stocking Associate Should Have Prior Experience In A Retail Setting, Preferably In A Stocking Or Inventory Management Role. This Experience Will Help Them Understand The Retail Environment And The Expectations Of The Job.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Role Involves A Lot Of Physical Work, Including Lifting And Carrying Heavy Objects, Standing For Long Periods Of Time, And Moving Around The Store To Stock Shelves. Therefore, Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.

  • Attention To Detail: A Retail Stocking Associate Must Have Keen Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate And Efficient Stocking Of Merchandise. This Includes Checking Inventory Levels, Organizing Products On Shelves, And Ensuring Correct Pricing And Labeling.
