Job Description

Burlington Stores is seeking a dedicated and motivated Retail Stocking Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store is always fully stocked and organized for our customers.   1. Maintain inventory levels: Ensure that the store is always fully stocked by monitoring inventory levels and restocking merchandise as needed.
  2. Organize merchandise: Use your keen eye for detail to ensure that all merchandise is neatly organized and displayed according to company standards.
  3. Unload shipments: Receive and unload merchandise shipments, checking for accuracy and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  4. Stock shelves: Quickly and efficiently stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and priced.
  5. Maintain store appearance: Keep the store clean and organized, including restocking and straightening shelves, maintaining displays, and sweeping or vacuuming the sales floor.
  6. Assist customers: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, locating merchandise, and offering suggestions or recommendations.
  7. Follow safety procedures: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper lifting techniques and handling hazardous materials.
  8. Collaborate with team members: Work closely with fellow team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks, as well as offer support and assistance when needed.
  9. Meet productivity goals: Meet or exceed productivity goals set by management, such as stocking a certain number of items per hour or completing tasks within a specific time frame.
  10. Stay informed: Keep up-to-date on current promotions, sales, and merchandise to assist customers and provide accurate information.
  11. Follow company policies: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
  12. Continuously improve: Seek out opportunities for growth and improvement, both personally and for the store, and communicate suggestions to management.
