Job Description

Welcome to Burlington Stores! We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Retail Stocking Associate to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our store is well-stocked and organized for our valued customers.   1. Stocking and Organizing Merchandise: The Retail Stocking Associate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise on the sales floor. This includes accurately counting and sorting items, arranging them in an organized manner, and ensuring shelves and displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
  2. Maintaining Inventory Control: The associate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and communicating any discrepancies to the management team. They will also be responsible for monitoring and restocking low or out-of-stock items to ensure availability for customers.
  3. Providing Excellent Customer Service: The Retail Stocking Associate will greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. They will be expected to answer questions, locate products, and offer suggestions to customers, enhancing their overall shopping experience.
  4. Following Company Policies and Procedures: The associate will be required to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines, cash handling procedures, and merchandising standards. They will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Collaborating with Team Members: The associate will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of stocking tasks. They will be expected to communicate effectively, share workload, and assist others when needed.
  6. Restocking and Replenishing: The associate will regularly check for and restock merchandise that has been returned to the store or left on the sales floor. They will also be responsible for checking expiration dates and rotating products as needed.
  7. Flexibility with Schedule: The associate may be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
  8. Attention to Detail: The Retail Stocking Associate will be responsible for ensuring all merchandise is accurately labeled, priced, and displayed according to company standards. They will also be responsible for identifying and reporting any damaged or defective items to management.
