Job Description

  1. Stock and organize merchandise: Responsible for receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  2. Monitor inventory levels: Keep track of inventory levels and communicate any shortages or excesses to management in a timely manner.
  3. Maintain store appearance: Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  4. Restock shelves: Regularly restock shelves with new merchandise, ensuring that products are neatly displayed and easily accessible for customers.
  5. Follow safety procedures: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling and stocking merchandise, including proper lifting techniques and use of equipment.
  6. Assist with receiving and shipping: Help with receiving and processing shipments, checking for accuracy and quality of merchandise.
  7. Provide excellent customer service: Assist customers with finding products and answer any questions they may have in a friendly and professional manner.
  8. Collaborate with team members: Work closely with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  9. Maintain accurate records: Keep track of inventory levels, stock movement, and any damages or discrepancies in merchandise.
  10. Adhere to company policies: Follow all company policies and procedures, including dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
  11. Meet productivity goals: Strive to meet and exceed productivity goals set by management.
  12. Continuously improve processes: Identify opportunities for improvement in stocking processes and make recommendations to management.
  13. Maintain a positive attitude: Approach all tasks with a positive attitude and willingness to help others.
  14. Attend trainings and meetings: Attend all mandatory trainings and meetings to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In Retail Or Inventory Management: A Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations And Inventory Management Is Essential For A Retail Stocking Associate To Effectively Stock And Organize Merchandise.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Position May Involve Long Periods Of Standing, Bending, And Lifting Heavy Boxes Or Items, So Physical Strength And Endurance Are Important Qualifications.

  • Attention To Detail And Organization Skills: A Retail Stocking Associate Must Be Able To Accurately Track And Categorize Inventory, As Well As Maintain A Neat And Organized Stockroom And Sales Floor.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: This Role Requires Working Closely With Other Team Members, As Well As Interacting With Customers, So Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Necessary.
