- Ensure store shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing for customers
- Receive and process incoming merchandise, including unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and restocking shelves
- Maintain accurate and organized inventory by conducting regular inventory counts and restocking as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with locating products and answering any questions they may have
- Follow company guidelines and procedures for stocking and organizing merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly stocking goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including backroom and sales floor
- Be knowledgeable about current promotions and sales to assist customers and drive sales
- Communicate any inventory or stocking needs to management in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling merchandise and operating equipment
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with team members and customers
- Attend and participate in all required trainings and meetings
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to dress code, attendance, and punctuality
- Continuously seek opportunities for self-improvement and development within the role.
Previous Retail Experience: A Qualified Candidate For A Retail Stocking Associate Position At Burlington Stores Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Setting, Preferably In A Similar Role. This Will Ensure That They Have A Good Understanding Of Store Operations And The Ability To Handle Tasks Efficiently.
Strong Organizational Skills: Stocking Associates Are Responsible For Organizing And Restocking Merchandise On The Sales Floor. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Organizational Skills To Ensure That Products Are Displayed In An Appealing And Orderly Manner.
Attention To Detail: A Retail Stocking Associate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That Merchandise Is Accurately Placed And Displayed According To Company Standards. They Should Also Be Able To Identify And Report Any Damaged Or Defective Products.
Physical Stamina: This Position Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Of Merchandise, Which Can Be Physically Demanding. A Qualified Candidate Should Have The Physical Stamina To Handle These Tasks And Be Able To Work On Their Feet For Extended Periods.
Team Player: A Successful Retail Stocking Associate Should Be Able To Work Well In A Team And Communicate Effectively With Other Team Members. They Should Also Be Willing To Assist In Other Areas Of The Store When Needed, Such As Cashiering Or Customer Service.
