- Receive and unpack merchandise shipments, accurately counting and labeling items.
- Verify inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, adhering to safety and security protocols.
- Collaborate with sales associates and management to identify and replenish low or out-of-stock items.
- Utilize proper lifting and stocking techniques to prevent damage to merchandise.
- Assist with setting up and taking down promotional displays and signage.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and directing customers to desired products.
- Follow company policies and procedures for handling and storing merchandise.
- Continuously monitor and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and timely completion of stocking duties.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure effective teamwork and store efficiency.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Stamina: Retail Stocking Associates Must Have The Ability To Stand For Long Periods Of Time, Lift And Move Heavy Boxes, And Perform Repetitive Tasks Such As Bending And Reaching.
Organizational Skills: A Successful Retail Stocking Associate Must Be Able To Keep Track Of Inventory And Ensure That Products Are Shelved In An Organized And Efficient Manner.
