Job Description

As a Retail Stocking Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our stores are well-stocked and organized.   1. Stocking and organizing merchandise: This includes receiving and unpacking shipments, restocking shelves and racks, and maintaining a neat and orderly store layout.
  2. Providing excellent customer service: Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with finding products or sizes. Always maintain a friendly and helpful attitude.
  3. Maintaining store appearance: Keep all areas of the store clean and organized, including the sales floor, fitting rooms, and backroom areas. This may also include light cleaning and tidying up.
  4. Following safety procedures: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, use of equipment, and following company guidelines for handling hazardous materials.
  5. Collaborating with team members: Work together with other stock associates and store employees to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  6. Monitoring inventory levels: Keep track of inventory levels and notify management when stock is running low or when additional products are needed.
  7. Following company policies: Adhere to all company policies, including dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
  8. Maintaining product knowledge: Stay informed about current and upcoming products, sales, and promotions to assist customers and make recommendations.
  9. Assisting with store events: Help with setting up and breaking down displays for sales events or special promotions.
  10. Maintaining a positive attitude: Demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor at all times, and handle any customer concerns or complaints with patience and empathy.

Attention To Detail Also Helps Prevent Costly Mistakes, Such As Misplacing Items Or Overstocking.

  • Customer Service Skills: While The Primary Focus Of This Role Is Restocking Merchandise, Retail Stocking Associates Are Also Expected To Assist Customers On The Sales Floor. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Strong Customer Service Skills And The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Customers And Coworkers.
