Welcome to the Burlington Stores team! We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Retail Stocking Associate to join our dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. As a Stocking Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our shelves are fully stocked and organized for our customers. This position requires strong organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team setting.   1. Stock and organize shelves: The primary responsibility of the Retail Stocking Associate is to ensure that the store shelves are always fully stocked and organized for customers to easily find products.
  2. Maintain inventory levels: The Stocking Associate will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and communicating any low stock or overstock situations to management.
  3. Unload and receive merchandise: This role will require the ability to receive and unload merchandise shipments, and accurately count and verify incoming stock against purchase orders.
  4. Price and tag merchandise: The Stocking Associate will be responsible for accurately pricing and tagging merchandise according to company standards.
  5. Maintain store appearance: It is the responsibility of the Stocking Associate to ensure that the store is always clean, neat, and visually appealing to customers.
  6. Collaborate with team members: The Stocking Associate will need to work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  7. Follow safety protocols: This role requires following all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  8. Provide excellent customer service: The Stocking Associate will be interacting with customers on the sales floor and must provide friendly and helpful customer service.
  9. Assist with other tasks as needed: As a member of the retail team, the Stocking Associate may be asked to help with other tasks, such as cashiering, customer service, or cleaning, as needed.
  10. Adhere to company policies: The Stocking Associate is expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, punctuality, and dress code.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In Retail Or Stocking: Candidates For This Position Should Have Previous Experience In A Retail Setting Or In Stocking Merchandise. This Will Ensure They Have A Basic Understanding Of Inventory Management And Customer Service.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: Retail Stocking Associates Are Responsible For Maintaining A Neat And Organized Store Environment. Candidates Should Have Strong Organizational Skills To Ensure Products Are Properly Displayed And Restocked.

  • Physical Stamina: This Job Requires Individuals To Be On Their Feet For Long Periods Of Time And To Lift And Move Heavy Boxes Or Merchandise. Candidates Should Have The Physical Stamina To Handle These Tasks.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role. Retail Stocking Associates Must Ensure That Products Are Properly Labeled, Priced, And Placed On Shelves In The Correct Location.

  • Customer Service Skills: While The Main Focus Of This Job Is Stocking And Maintaining Inventory, Candidates Should Also Possess Strong Customer Service Skills. They Will Interact With Customers While Restocking Shelves And Should Be Able To Assist Them With Any Questions Or Concerns.
