- Ensure that the store is well-stocked and organized at all times to provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Receive and process merchandise shipments, checking for accuracy and quality.
- Unpack and stock merchandise on shelves, racks, and tables according to company standards.
- Maintain a neat and organized backroom, ensuring efficient and safe storage of merchandise.
- Monitor and replenish inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and signage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating and selecting merchandise.
- Use knowledge of store layout and product assortment to assist customers with product inquiries.
- Follow company policies and procedures in handling merchandise, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate any issues or concerns regarding inventory, stocking, or customer service to management.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Attend training and development sessions to stay updated on store policies, procedures, and product knowledge.
- Adhere to all safety and security guidelines to protect company assets and prevent loss.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Boxes And Merchandise On A Daily Basis.
Basic Math Skills For Accurately Counting And Reconciling Inventory.
Attention To Detail And Ability To Organize And Maintain Neat And Orderly Stockrooms.
Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Team Members.
Prior Experience In Retail Or Stocking Roles Preferred, With Knowledge Of Store Operations And Inventory Management.
