- Ensure shelves are fully stocked with high-quality merchandise at all times
- Receive, unpack, and organize new merchandise shipments
- Rotate and restock merchandise according to company standards and procedures
- Keep track of inventory levels and communicate any low stock or out-of-stock items to management
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor
- Assist customers in finding products and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently and accurately complete tasks
- Adhere to safety and security procedures to prevent loss and minimize shrinkage
- Be knowledgeable about current promotions and sales to effectively assist customers
- Continuously monitor and report any damaged or defective merchandise
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Physical Stamina And Strength: This Role Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Stocking Of Heavy Items, So Candidates Must Be Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: Retail Stocking Associates Must Be Able To Accurately And Efficiently Organize And Arrange Merchandise On Store Shelves And Displays, Ensuring That Products Are Neatly And Attractively Presented To Customers.
Time-Management Skills: The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Work Quickly And Efficiently Is Essential In This Role, As Retail Associates Are Often Responsible For Restocking Shelves During Busy Store Hours.
Customer Service Skills: While Primarily A Behind-The-Scenes Role, Retail Stocking Associates May Also Interact With Customers On The Sales Floor, So Excellent Customer Service Skills Are A Must.
