  1. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and address potential shrinkage issues.
  2. Monitor and analyze store data to identify patterns and trends in inventory shortage.
  3. Collaborate with store management to implement effective loss prevention strategies.
  4. Train and educate store associates on best practices for preventing inventory loss.
  5. Conduct investigations into suspected theft or fraudulent activity.
  6. Maintain accurate and organized records of inventory and shortage control measures.
  7. Monitor and enforce store policies and procedures related to inventory management.
  8. Communicate effectively with store management and corporate teams regarding shortage control initiatives and progress.
  9. Identify and report any operational or procedural issues that may contribute to inventory loss.
  10. Conduct physical security checks to ensure the safety and security of store inventory.
  11. Use surveillance and other loss prevention tools to monitor and prevent theft.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in loss prevention technology.
  13. Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  14. Maintain a professional and customer-oriented attitude at all times, providing excellent service to customers and colleagues.
  15. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve overall store success.
