  1. Monitor and identify potential security risks within the store, including theft, fraud, and operational errors.
  2. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to shortage control.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement and potential risks.
  4. Utilize surveillance and other security measures to prevent and deter theft and fraudulent activities.
  5. Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement effective shortage control strategies.
  6. Train and educate store associates on best practices for shortage control and security measures.
  7. Investigate and report any incidents of theft, fraud, or operational errors to the appropriate parties.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shortage control activities.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with any related customer inquiries or concerns.
  10. Continuously stay informed on industry trends and best practices for shortage control and security measures.
  11. Comply with all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of customers and employees.
  12. Handle and resolve any conflicts or difficult situations related to shortage control in a professional and timely manner.
  13. Collaborate with law enforcement and other external partners as needed.
  14. Participate in company-wide initiatives and trainings related to shortage control and security.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company and its values.
