  1. Implement and maintain effective shortage control measures to reduce losses and increase profitability in our retail stores.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential security risks and discrepancies.
  3. Collaborate with store management and security teams to develop and implement strategies to prevent theft and fraud.
  4. Utilize surveillance systems and other tools to monitor store activities and detect any suspicious behavior.
  5. Investigate and report any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches to the appropriate authorities.
  6. Train and educate store associates on proper security protocols and procedures.
  7. Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure accurate and timely inventory counts.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all shortage control activities.
  9. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including store management, corporate teams, and law enforcement agencies.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in shortage control and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns related to shortage control.
  14. Stay organized and keep detailed records of all shortage control activities.
  15. Participate in and support company initiatives and programs related to security and loss prevention.
