- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a smooth and efficient shortage control process.

Previous Experience In Retail Or Loss Prevention: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment Or In A Loss Prevention Role. This Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of The Retail Industry And The Importance Of Shortage Control.
Strong Observation And Attention To Detail Skills: As A Retail Shortage Control Associate, It Is Important To Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Observe Customer Behavior And Store Activity In Order To Identify Potential Theft Or Fraud.
