  1. Implement shortage control strategies and procedures to reduce loss and protect company assets.
  2. Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify potential areas of loss and take appropriate action.
  3. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement loss prevention initiatives.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies or issues that may impact accuracy.
  5. Communicate effectively with team members and management to report any suspicious activity or potential risks.
  6. Utilize surveillance equipment and technology to monitor and detect theft or other security concerns.
  7. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to loss prevention activities.
  8. Train and educate store associates on shortage control procedures and practices.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of security and safety protocols.
  10. Respond promptly and effectively to any security or safety incidents.
  11. Maintain a professional and proactive attitude in all interactions with customers and team members.
  12. Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in loss prevention.
  13. Participate in regular team meetings and provide input on ways to improve shortage control processes.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
