- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with finding and selecting merchandise, including providing style recommendations and offering product knowledge.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a neat and organized sales floor by restocking merchandise, arranging displays, and keeping shelves and racks fully stocked.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock shortages or overages to management.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including loss prevention measures, to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Burlington Stores by promoting the company's values and mission.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and targets set by management.
- Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and product knowledge to better assist customers and improve sales performance.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Previous Retail Experience: A Successful Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Sales Role. This Will Demonstrate Their Knowledge Of Customer Service And Sales Techniques.
Strong Communication Skills: A Retail Sales Associate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Promote Products. They Should Also Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Their Team And Managers.
Customer Service Oriented: A Strong Focus On Customer Service Is Essential For A Retail Sales Associate. They Should Have The Ability To Listen To Customers, Understand Their Needs, And Provide Solutions To Ensure A Positive Shopping Experience.
