We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate. As a vital member of our retail team, you will have the opportunity to interact with our diverse customer base and help them find the perfect products to fit their needs.   1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs and inquiries.
  3. Utilize product knowledge to recommend and suggest items to customers that meet their needs and preferences.
  4. Maintain a neat and organized sales floor by restocking shelves, folding and arranging merchandise, and ensuring a clean and clutter-free environment.
  5. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sale system.
  6. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and targets.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current and upcoming promotions, as well as product knowledge, to effectively communicate information to customers.
  8. Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Follow company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, loss prevention, cash handling, and inventory management.
  10. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction by actively seeking feedback and implementing suggestions for improvement.
  11. Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude while representing the Burlington brand.
  12. Attend and participate in store meetings and trainings as required.
  13. Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working and shopping environment.
  14. Perform any other duties assigned by management to support the overall success of the store.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Sales Experience: A Successful Candidate For A Part-Time Retail Sales Associate Position At Burlington Stores Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Sales Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Will Demonstrate Their Understanding Of Customer Service, Product Knowledge, And Sales Techniques.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For A Retail Sales Associate, As They Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. This Includes Being Able To Listen To Customers' Needs, Effectively Communicate Product Information, And Handle Customer Inquiries And Complaints.

  • Knowledge Of The Retail Industry: A Candidate For This Position Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Retail Industry, Including Knowledge Of Current Trends, Popular Brands, And Customer Preferences. This Will Allow Them To Make Informed Recommendations And Provide Excellent Customer Service.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours: Retail Stores Often Have Varying Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends. A Successful Candidate For A Part-Time Retail Sales Associate Position Should Be Able To Work A Flexible Schedule To Accommodate The Needs Of The Store And Its Customers.

  • Positive Attitude And Team Player Mentality: A Retail Sales Associate Must Have A Positive Attitude And Be Able To Work Well With Others. This Includes Being A Team Player, Being Able To Take Direction From Managers, And Being Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Sales Associates To Achieve Sales Goals.
