- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Utilize strong sales skills to drive sales and meet or exceed individual and store targets.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and offer appropriate product recommendations based on those needs.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the products and services offered by Burlington Stores and effectively communicate this information to customers.
- Keep up-to-date on current fashion trends and styles in order to provide customers with the latest and most relevant product options.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and gift card sales.
- Assist with merchandising and maintaining a visually appealing store environment, including restocking, organizing, and arranging products on the sales floor.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to ensure a safe and pleasant shopping experience for customers and a positive work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall store goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
- Continuously strive to improve sales techniques and product knowledge through training and development opportunities provided by Burlington Stores.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management to support the overall success of the store.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Successful Retail Sales Associate Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Exceptional Customer Service And Build Rapport With Customers.
Sales Experience: Prior Experience In Sales Or Retail Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates The Ability To Effectively Promote And Sell Products To Customers.
Product Knowledge: A Retail Sales Associate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Products Being Sold In The Store, Including Features, Benefits, And Pricing, To Effectively Assist Customers With Their Purchasing Decisions.
