- Lead and supervise the front end operations of the retail store.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is provided at all times.
- Train and mentor front end team members to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor and maintain the front end area to ensure it is organized, clean, and well-stocked.
- Address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Create and implement strategies to improve front end processes and procedures.
- Manage cashiers and cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers and preparing deposits.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to ensure smooth store operations.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding new front end team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to front end team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Handle any escalated issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
- Represent the store in a positive manner at all times.
Previous Supervisory Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role Within A Retail Environment. This Experience Should Include Managing And Leading A Team, Handling Customer Complaints, And Overseeing Daily Operations.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Front End Supervisor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Customers And Employees. They Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Information And Resolve Issues.
Knowledge Of Retail Systems: Burlington Stores Uses Various Retail Systems For Pos, Inventory Management, And Scheduling. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working With These Systems Or A Similar Retail Environment.
Customer Service-Oriented: The Front End Supervisor Is Responsible For Ensuring A Positive Shopping Experience For Customers. They Should Have A Strong Customer Service Mindset And Be Able To Handle Difficult Situations With Tact And Professionalism.
