  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front end, including cashiers, customer service, and returns/exchanges.
  2. Ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience by monitoring wait times, managing lines, and addressing any customer concerns or issues.
  3. Train and develop front end team members on store policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  4. Monitor and maintain front end supplies and equipment, including cash registers, bags, and receipt paper.
  5. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of cash handling and adherence to company policies.
  6. Create and implement strategies to improve front end processes and procedures, resulting in increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  7. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, providing resolution and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  8. Collaborate with store management to ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage for the front end.
  9. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to front end team members.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized front end area, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for customers.
  11. Stay up-to-date on all company policies, procedures, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  12. Monitor and report on front end metrics, such as transaction times, customer wait times, and customer satisfaction scores.
  13. Assist with scheduling and payroll for front end team members.
  14. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among front end team members.
  15. Adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect company assets and ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Customer Service Experience: A Successful Retail Front End Supervisor Should Have A Strong Background In Customer Service, With At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Or Hospitality Setting. This Position Requires Interacting With Customers, Addressing Their Concerns, And Ensuring Their Overall Satisfaction.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Full-Time Retail Front End Supervisor, One Must Possess Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Front End Associates. This Includes Delegating Tasks, Providing Feedback, And Resolving Conflicts In A Professional Manner.

  • Cash Handling Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Handling Cash, Credit, And Other Forms Of Payment In A Retail Environment. They Should Be Knowledgeable In Cashier Procedures, Such As Processing Returns And Exchanges, Reconciling Cash Drawers, And Monitoring Inventory Levels.

  • Organizational Skills: A Retail Front End Supervisor Must Be Highly Organized To Oversee The Front End Operations Of The Store. This Includes Managing Schedules, Coordinating Breaks, And Ensuring That All Tasks Are Completed In A Timely Manner.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: In This Role, It Is Crucial To Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Handle Any Issues That May Arise, Such As Customer Complaints, Inventory Discrepancies, Or Technical Difficulties With The Pos System. The Candidate Should Be Able To Think Quickly And Come Up With Effective Solutions To Ensure Smooth Front End Operations.
