- Oversee the front end operations of the store, including the checkout process, to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Train and motivate front end staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy of cash handling procedures, including cashiers' registers, safe, and cash office.
- Handle any customer complaints or issues that may arise at the front end, ensuring a timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Collaborate with other store departments to ensure a smooth and seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front end area, including registers, checkout lanes, and customer service desk.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and cash handling.
- Create and implement strategies to improve front end operations and customer service, leading to increased sales and customer loyalty.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate departments.
- Continuously evaluate and improve front end processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce wait times for customers.
- Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to front end staff to ensure a high level of productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement training programs for new and existing front end employees.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer service best practices to ensure that Burlington Stores remains a leader in the retail industry.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Burlington Stores' values and brand to customers and staff.
Experience In Retail Management: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Possess At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In A Supervisory Role. This Experience Should Demonstrate Strong Leadership Skills, The Ability To Manage A Team, And A Track Record Of Meeting Sales Goals.
Customer Service Skills: As A Front End Supervisor, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Customer Service Experience At The Checkout Area. Therefore, They Should Possess Excellent Customer Service Skills And The Ability To Handle Any Customer Issues Or Complaints Efficiently And Effectively.
Cash Handling Experience: This Role Will Involve Handling Cash, Processing Credit Card Transactions, And Overseeing The Accuracy Of Cashiers' Registers. Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience Handling Cash And Be Comfortable With Basic Math And Accounting Principles.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Front End Supervisor, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Customers And Employees, As Well As Other Members Of The Management Team. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Attention To Detail: The Front End Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Ensuring The Accuracy Of Cashiers' Transactions And Monitoring The Store's Inventory Levels. Therefore, Attention To Detail And The Ability To Identify And Resolve Any Discrepancies Are Critical Qualifications For This Role.
