- Monitor and track all shipments from vendors to stores, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of merchandise.
- Communicate with logistics and transportation teams to identify and resolve any delays or issues with shipments.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify areas for improvement in supply chain operations and make recommendations for optimization.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments and their status, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate and facilitate the movement of merchandise.
- Proactively identify potential risks or disruptions in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Analyze transportation costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses and increase efficiency.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of shipments and any issues or delays.
- Maintain a strong understanding of logistics and transportation processes, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert on track and trace processes and systems, providing training and support to team members as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures related to supply chain operations.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve and streamline processes, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of merchandise.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
- Represent Burlington Stores in a professional and positive manner at all times, both internally and externally.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Logistics And/Or Supply Chain Management.
Proficiency In Using Logistics Tracking And Tracing Software And Systems.
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret And Analyze Data To Identify Trends And Make Recommendations.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners To Resolve Issues And Improve Processes.
