Job Description

Burlington Stores is looking for an experienced General Manager – East Coast Distribution to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a motivated and organized leader to oversee the development and implementation of distribution processes and procedures across the East Coast. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics and operations management, a proven track record of successfully managing distribution personnel, and a passion for driving results. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective distribution processes and procedures for the East Coast
  2. Lead and manage distribution personnel to ensure they meet operational goals and objectives
  3. Supervise the performance of distribution staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure job satisfaction and productivity
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products
  5. Monitor and analyze distribution operations to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
  6. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy of inventory records
  7. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to distribution operations
  8. Oversee the development and implementation of safety procedures to protect employees and customers
  9. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  10. Prepare reports and presentations for management as necessary
