
Distribution Center Area Manager (2nd Shift)

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the distribution center to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Monitor and improve processes and procedures to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives.
- Create and implement strategies to meet company objectives and drive results.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage inventory levels and track shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Collaborate with other department managers to optimize overall operations and achieve company goals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve distribution center operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees to enhance their skills and performance.
- Handle any issues or challenges that may arise in the distribution center and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain a positive and effective work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Represent the company in a professional manner and act as a role model for employees in terms of work ethic, professionalism, and integrity.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Management Experience In A Distribution Center Setting, Preferably In A Retail Environment.
Strong Knowledge Of Distribution Center Operations, Including Receiving, Inventory Management, And Order Fulfillment.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Large Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Productivity And Efficiency Targets, While Maintaining A High Level Of Accuracy.
Bachelor's Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field Preferred.
