Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: A Data Scientist Ii At Burlington Stores Should Possess A Master's Or Phd Degree In A Field Such As Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Or Data Science.
Extensive Experience In Data Analysis: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Data Analysis, Preferably In A Retail Or E-Commerce Environment. This Includes Proficiency In Sql, Data Wrangling, And Data Visualization Tools Such As Tableau Or Power Bi.
Strong Statistical And Machine Learning Skills: The Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Statistical Methods And Techniques, As Well As Experience With Machine Learning Algorithms. The Candidate Should Be Able To Apply These Skills To Solve Complex Business Problems And Provide Valuable Insights.
Programming Skills: A Data Scientist Ii Should Have A Strong Programming Background, Including Proficiency In At Least One Programming Language Such As Python, R, Or Java. Experience With Big Data Tools Like Hadoop Or Spark Is Also Desirable.
Communication And Teamwork: As A Senior Role, The Data Scientist Ii Will Be Expected To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Findings To Non-Technical Stakeholders. Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For Success In This Position.
