  1. Lead and mentor a team of customer service associates to ensure they are providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Create a positive and welcoming environment for both customers and associates.
  3. Train new associates on customer service best practices and company policies.
  4. Supervise and delegate tasks to customer service associates to ensure efficient operations.
  5. Handle escalated customer service issues and provide resolution in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Act as a role model for customer service excellence and coach associates on how to handle difficult situations.
  7. Monitor and maintain customer service standards and provide feedback to management on ways to improve.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of customer service strategies and initiatives.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  10. Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, policies, and procedures.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer service best practices.
  12. Contribute to the overall success of the store by achieving sales goals and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  13. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations for the customer service team.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

  • Strong Communication Skills: A Customer Service Lead Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers And Team Members In A Clear And Professional Manner. This Includes Both Verbal And Written Communication.

  • Leadership Experience: A Customer Service Lead Should Have Experience In A Leadership Role, Whether In A Retail Setting Or In A Different Industry. They Should Be Able To Motivate And Guide A Team To Provide Excellent Customer Service.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: As A Front-Line Representative Of Burlington Stores, A Customer Service Lead Must Be Able To Handle Customer Complaints And Resolve Issues In A Timely And Satisfactory Manner. This Requires Strong Problem-Solving And Conflict Resolution Skills.

  • Knowledge Of Company Policies And Procedures: A Customer Service Lead Should Be Familiar With The Policies And Procedures Of Burlington Stores In Order To Effectively Train And Guide Team Members. They Should Also Be Able To Enforce These Policies To Ensure Consistency And Compliance.

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role Is Essential For A Customer Service Lead. This Could Include Experience In Retail, Hospitality, Or Any Other Customer-Facing Position. A Strong Understanding Of Customer Needs And Expectations Is Key In This Role.
