In this role, you will be the face of our company and will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience. As a Cashier Associate, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions, while providing exceptional service and ensuring the store stays organized and clean.   1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
  2. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving issues.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  5. Ensure that all merchandise is properly scanned and priced.
  6. Assist customers with locating products and making recommendations.
  7. Uphold store policies and procedures regarding returns and exchanges.
  8. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
  9. Handle cash and credit card transactions and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
  10. Keep track of inventory and notify management of any discrepancies.
  11. Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
  12. Attend training sessions and stay updated on product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  14. Follow safety and security protocols to protect customers and merchandise.
  15. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
