  1. Provide excellent customer service to all customers by greeting them, assisting with their purchases, and answering any questions they may have.
  2. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers and other forms of payment.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  4. Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels at the checkout area to prevent delays in customer transactions.
  5. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
  6. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with cash handling and store operations.
  7. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales and customer service goals.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
  9. Stay updated on current promotions and sales to inform customers and drive sales.
  10. Demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and coworkers at all times.
  11. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company in a positive manner.
  12. Cross-train in other store departments to provide support and fill in as needed.
  13. Assist with store opening and closing procedures as required.
  14. Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of customers and team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Or Customer Service Experience: A Cashier Associate Should Have Experience Working In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment And Have A Strong Understanding Of Providing Excellent Customer Service.

  • Strong Numerical And Cash Handling Skills: As A Cashier, It Is Essential To Have Strong Numerical Abilities And Be Able To Handle Cash Transactions Accurately And Efficiently.

  • Attention To Detail: Cashiers Are Responsible For Handling Cash, Processing Transactions, And Maintaining Accurate Records. Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure All Transactions Are Processed Correctly And The Store's Cash Is Balanced At The End Of Each Shift.

  • Availability To Work Flexible Hours: Part-Time Cashier Associates Must Be Able To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. This Flexibility Is Essential To Meet The Needs Of The Store And Provide Excellent Customer Service.
