Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier Associate on a part-time basis at Burlington Stores. As a Cashier Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring that all transactions are accurately processed. This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for customer service, we would love to have you on our team.

  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Process all transactions accurately and efficiently.
  3. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with accuracy and integrity.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  5. Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  6. Communicate effectively with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  7. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and exchanges.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the checkout process.
  9. Upsell and promote store products and services to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
  10. Attend training sessions to stay updated on company policies, products, and services.
  11. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to protect company assets.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager or supervisor.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  15. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions.
  16. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  17. Continuously seek ways to improve the checkout process and customer experience.
  18. Follow all company dress code and grooming standards.
  19. Adhere to assigned work schedule and arrive on time for all shifts.
  20. Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed.
