Welcome to Burlington Stores! We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Cashier Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and efficiently processing transactions at the register. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others. If you have a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to have you join our team!

  1. Greeting customers with a warm and friendly attitude upon their arrival at the store.
  2. Providing excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  3. Efficiently processing transactions at the register, including scanning items, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing accurate change.
  4. Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  5. Adhering to all cash handling procedures and maintaining accuracy in all transactions.
  6. Assisting with restocking and straightening merchandise as needed.
  7. Upholding company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, providing a safe and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
  8. Collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of customers through the checkout process.
  9. Being knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers.
  10. Demonstrating a positive attitude and excellent communication skills with customers, team members, and management.
  11. Maintaining a dependable work schedule and arriving on time for scheduled shifts.
  12. Adhering to all safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of customers and employees.
  13. Striving to meet and exceed sales goals and customer satisfaction metrics.
  14. Continuously seeking opportunities for self-improvement and learning new skills to enhance job performance.
  15. Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
