1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
2. Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
3. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
4. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking supplies and tidying up as needed.
5. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
6. Stay up-to-date on current promotions and store policies to accurately communicate to customers.
7. Actively promote and upsell store credit cards and other loyalty programs.
8. Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
9. Assist with bagging and packaging customer purchases as needed.
10. Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor at all times to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.
11. Adhere to all cash handling and register procedures to ensure accuracy and prevent theft.
12. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay informed about product updates and customer service techniques.
13. Follow all safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
14. Assist with other store tasks, such as restocking merchandise and assisting customers on the sales floor, as needed.
