  1. Greet and welcome customers into the store in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
  3. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions and ensure the accuracy of all monetary exchanges.
  4. Assist customers with locating merchandise and answering any questions they may have.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  6. Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged and priced.
  7. Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
  8. Uphold company standards for customer service and provide a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations of the checkout area.
  10. Communicate any customer or operational issues to management in a timely manner.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and loss prevention.
  12. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and customer service expectations.
  13. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products.
  14. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  15. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
