1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using cash registers and other equipment.
3. Handle cash, credit and debit transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
4. Maintain a neat and organized checkout area to provide a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
5. Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner.
6. Assist customers with locating products and making product recommendations.
7. Effectively communicate and promote store promotions and loyalty programs to customers.
8. Follow all cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in balancing cash at the end of each shift.
9. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and store policies to provide accurate information to customers.
10. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
11. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to maintain a safe shopping environment.
12. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
13. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager or supervisor.
